**Risk Assessment and UW-**
- Evaluate proposal thoroughly considering past claims / experience and assess conformance with underwriting guidelines; seek more information/clarification on proposals, with customers, if required
Conduct 360-degree review of risks along with any associated loss ratio, accordingly, set terms and conditions for the proposal and assess adherence to the norms, guidelines.
Prepare quotes, discuss the same with the superior, if required. Provide clarifications to internal/external customers wherever required.

**Audit**
- Conduct sample audits across the zones to check for non-adherence to company guidelines, seek clarifications from the team and draft the report; share the report with the National Head. To monitor the various corrective measures suggested in view of audit findings by competent authority.
- Assess areas of improvement by taking feedback from IMDs and providing them with solutions for ease of operations.
- Visit the locations and meet UW/ operations/ sales teams; understand problem areas and issues / concerns
- Provide guidance, if required and resolve any issues / concerns from Sales and Ops teams
- **TAT Accountability**
- To release all quotes/E-Request/Approvals within the TAT specified By the Cos.

**4. System Approvals**
- To ensure policy issuance is done as per approved quotes within the defined TAT.
All E-Request are approved as per set guidelines within defined TAT.

**5. IT/System Developments**:
**System development**

**INCHARGE FOR MAXIMUS TRANSIITON FOR SPECIAILTY PRODUCTS**
- Development of quotation, policy issuance and endorsement module for Misc Products
Raising the IT calls, discussion of logic within the team as well as BA & developers, FTC finalization, testing the calls and bringing the calls live.
Regular discussions with IT for the doubts during the development process.
Maintaining timely calls development trackers, follow up with concerned developers/BA and ensuring the sign off from all the concerned stakeholders.
Preparing various calculators/ excel logic to explain the UW requirement to IT
Ensuring that all calls related to regulation guidelines and circulars are developed and brought live on priority

**System Upgradation**
- Working on the upgradation/ Updation of existing modules across all portals (Internal, iMitra, Broker and Ezee Tab)
- Collaborate with different teams to understand the challenges faced by them in existing modules, provide them inputs on improving functionality as well reduce workload in repetitive tasks and help them in resolving various system related issues.
- Working with renewals team for the development of renewal notice and renewal module across Specialty products
- Present the new (or modified) functionality to the relevant stakeholders; seek feedback and incorporate the same to strengthen the system for users
- **Integrated Module Development**
- Take up special projects / initiatives to strengthen the organizational processes, systems and governance systems
- Understanding Business requirement, logic creation, requirement discussion with BA, creation and finalization of Final documents for system development.
- Thorough Testing of the module on UAT as well as Production server.
- Present the new (or modified) functionality to Seniors, Technical heads and Branch UW’s; seek feedback and incorporate the same to strengthen the system for users
- Resolution of issues being generated during the initial times of module
- Regular MIS analysis to see the different parameters related to the module
- Assess areas of improvement through regular meetings with Branch UW’s and Technical Heads
- **MAJOR CHALLENGES**

- Dependency on internal stake holders for development of New products and amendments in existing products.
To arrive at a Consensus between internal sales team / customers -on price and coverage’s
- Creation of logics in calculators and that too in simpler versions so that IT can develop it in system based on it
- Regular Discussion with IT team, explaining them the exact requirement covers a majority of time
- MIS testing and sharing/ explaining the observations to MIS team/ developers
