**Department - MedComm RareD MA-GBS (Rare Blood Disorders)**

**The position**

As an Associate Global Scientific Advisor, you will deliver timely accurate and credible medical communication materials across medical affairs focus areas to internal and external stakeholders. Your tasks will involve close collaboration and effective communication with various cross-functional stakeholders including colleagues from global medical affairs and other functional areas. Another important part of the job is to engage in dialogue with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in different settings with focus on medical and scientific information and preparing their presentations for Novo Nordisk standalone events and international medical congresses.
- The management aspect of this job is to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and consistent communication between medical affairs team, project manager and medical illustrator.
- Support development of slide decks on NN supported studies.
- Gather and analyse medical and scientific feedback, e.g. from KOL interactions in advisory boards.
- Support medical affairs teams in the development and execution of scientific story line, content, topics of advisory boards.
- Support medical affairs teams in the development and execution of scientific communication during high quality global meetings (e.g. scientific expert meetings, symposia, webinars, etc.).

**Qualifications**
- Ph.D. with substantial clinical and/or research expertise relevant area preferred. Fresh PhDs from good institutes with a great publication track record can be considered.
- 0-2 years of clinical and/or pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated research experience (e.g. publications).
- Additional education with any certification and experience in medical communication.

Global Medical Affairs, GBS is an extension of the Global Medical Affairs, headquartered in Denmark (HQ), and is part of Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore, India. RareD Medical Affairs GBS is a vibrant team of MDs, PhDs, graphic designers, medical advisors, publication, medical writer, and project management professionals.

As a team we are anchored to the RareD organisation through Strategic Operations.

We work in close collaboration with our global colleagues supporting activities across Medical Affairs (Rare Endocrine Disorders & Rare Blood Disorders) and Strategic Operations. Our core competencies include communicating scientific and medical knowledge on our products to the external scientific community and across the organisation, in-house content development, project management and publication planning for external medical events across RareD Medical Affairs
