We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the operations of our paper mill facility.
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all production activities, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
This role requires excellent leadership abilities, technical knowledge of paper mill operations, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of paper mill operations, including production scheduling, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among all employees.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and promptly address any deviations or issues.
- Optimize production efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing effective strategies.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels of raw materials and finished products.
- Train and develop employees in proper operational procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members and provide constructive feedback for their professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments such as maintenance, engineering, and logistics to streamline operations and resolve any operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, maintenance activities, and other relevant documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting paper mill operations.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a paper mill or similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of paper mill processes including pulping, refining, drying, coating, calendaring etc.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- In-depth understanding of safety regulations related to manufacturing operations in order to ensure compliance at all times.
- Proven problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient computer skills including experience with production management software and MS Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
