Safety Officer

Working with the site administration team to set up the filling system for the compilation of the site HS&E records.
- Providing HS&E supervision of all building work by the contractors from the commencement of construction until the day of practical completion ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with the approved method statements and risk assessments.
- Reviewing the contractor method statements and risk assessments and advising the status to the senior construction manager.
- Producing a site HS&E induction in dual language for the project.
- Working with the contractors to ensure the HS&E induction was not carried out by is to a standard acceptable to.
- Ensuring the contractors are keeping the site in a clean and safe condition at all times.
- Attending regular meetings with the contractor in order to ensure HS&E elements are being communicated correctly to the workforce.
- Reviewing the contractor s health and safety plan and advising the status to the senior construction manager.
- Supporting the construction manager in enforcing the site health and safety rules.
- Carrying out a minimum of 3 formal recorded HSE inspections a week.
- Ensuring the site welfare facilities are being managed and maintained correctly by the contractors.
- Carrying out the monthly HS&E audits on the contractors and site conditions.
- Responsible for onsite safety management including recording all HSE contraventions on the HSE system (Yellow Jacket) being implemented on the site.
- Maintaining a daily detailed diary of site activities ensuring that any HS&E issues are captured for the purposes of the weekly progress meetings with the contractors.
- Working in shifts as required by the project director should be required in order to ensure the continuity of contractors work.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- safety officer: 3 years (preferred)
- safety officer railway: 1 year (preferred)
