**Job Description:

- **

**Quality Management**:Work closely with developers, architects, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage**. **Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address issues, and participate in agile ceremonies.

**Automation and Tools**:Develop and maintain automated test scripts using PHP testing frameworks or other relevant tools. Continuously evaluate and enhance test automation coverage to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

**Functional and Non-Functional Testing**: Conduct functional testing to ensure the correct behavior of features and services. Perform non-functional testing, including load testing, scalability testing, and security testing, to assess system performance and reliability.

**Defect Management**:Report and track defects using issue tracking tools, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide feedback for process improvement.

**Documentation**:Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. Contribute to the creation of user documentation related to testing processes and procedures.

**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:

- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Knowledge of security testing principles and tools.
- Experience of API testing tools like SoapUI, Postman.
- Database Management and query skills.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Agile development methodologies: Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean.
- Good understanding of the UK education market
- Ability to understand and interpret external statutory and regulatory requirements
