**Job Description: Computer Teacher in Preschool**

**Position Overview**: As a Computer Teacher in a Preschool, your primary responsibility is to introduce young children to the basics of computers and technology in an age-appropriate and engaging manner. You will be tasked with creating a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity and builds foundational digital literacy skills among preschool-aged children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the curriculum aligns with the preschool's educational goals and standards.
- Teach basic computer skills, including using a mouse and keyboard, navigating age-appropriate software, and understanding computer terminology.
- Educate children about internet safety and responsible online behavior while using digital devices.
- Assist students with basic troubleshooting skills
- Conduct small group activities and projects to enhance children's learning experiences and encourage teamwork and collaboration.
- Assess and track students' progress in computer skills
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress in computer classes, share updates on activities, and provide suggestions for supporting computer learning at home.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in technology education for young children and participate in relevant professional development opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of age-appropriate educational technology and software.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a nurturing attitude towards young learners.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for young children.
- Understanding of child development principles and the ability to adapt teaching methods to individual learning styles.
- Creativity and the ability to design engaging and interactive computer lessons for young children.
