**Job Title**: Store Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth business operations and an exceptional customer experience. This role involves managing staff, optimizing sales, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the store meets its financial and operational goals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Store Operations**:
- Ensure the store is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain a high level of customer service at all times.
- Oversee inventory management, stock levels, and product displays.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Handle customer complaints, issues, and returns in a professional manner.
2. **Sales & Financials**:
- Achieve and exceed store sales targets and KPIs.
- Analyze store performance metrics, including sales, margins, and expenses.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Manage store budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
3. **Staff Management**:
- Recruit, train, and mentor store staff to ensure they perform their roles effectively.
- Schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage, especially during peak periods.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and productive team environment.
4. **Customer Experience**:
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are met.
- Handle escalated customer service issues.
- Engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience and encourage repeat business.
5. **Compliance & Safety**:
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and regulations are followed.
- Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and staff.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and security policies.
**Qualifications & Skills**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field (preferred).
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail management or a related role.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing team.
- **Skills**:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in store operations software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office.
- **Attributes**:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
