**Position description**:
Prepare annual business plan in concurrence with the management and adhere to its deliverables, increase brand depth and width in market, increase visibility in outlets.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- The ASM will handle majorly two roles which are operational, and tactical in nature
- The operational role will entail driving of secondary business via VSO
- The tactical role will be handled via SDE and focus on distribution management and expansion
- In the operational role, the ASM will focus hugely on the VSO reviews on daily, weekly, and monthly basis to understand the efficiency of the salesmen driving the secondary business.
- The VSO review will also focus on productivity of the salesmen, the attendance, absenteeism, and attrition and optimising of mandays
- ASM through SDE will drive Beat optimisation so that the maximum potential of the beat can be utilised in an effective manner
- Ensuring pipeline creation of Salesmen, SS, and SUB D is kept ready to avoid any hindrance to the sales operations
- Regular review of SS is conducted to check and monitor the efficacy of the channel partner operations
- Regular review of outlet targets and SUB D to ensuring achievement of the targets in the territory
- Regular coordination with the CFT team, i.e. Commercial, Logistics, Marketing, Branding to align them on the market issues and seek solutions to improve the operations
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets
- Follow the market working norms, and ensure 4 days market working in a week to drive the aforementioned job responsibilities effectively
- Focus on extraction to measure the business from the effected expansion, ensure the desired throughput from the Field Force
- Strategy formulation for increasing sales & visibility in retail chain
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
- To make a strong & robust attitude driven team at every level & identify challengers who drive bigger agendas in the market place with more confidence and conviction
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

**Educational qualifications preferred**
