Responsibilities:

- Install new air conditioning systems, including ductwork, refrigerant lines, and electrical components, following manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
- Perform routine maintenance on AC systems, including cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and lubricating moving parts to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning AC units, identifying issues with compressors, motors, thermostats, and other components, and making necessary repairs or replacements.
- Respond to service calls from customers to troubleshoot AC problems, provide estimates for repairs or replacements, and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Test HVAC systems to ensure they are functioning properly, adjusting settings and controls as needed to achieve desired temperature levels and airflow.
- Educate customers on proper AC maintenance and usage, providing tips for improving energy efficiency and extending the lifespan of their equipment.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used, labor hours, and costs, to maintain accountability and facilitate billing.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to HVAC systems, participating in training programs and continuing education opportunities as needed.
