Server Administrator

A- Team Management Job Responsibilities:
Analyze daily IT calls from the Service Desk portal.

Manage a team of 2/3 Engineers.

Daily discussion of pending call-related challenges with the team and reporting to the IT Manager.

Daily collaboration with Desktop Support Engineers to help resolve calls promptly.

Prepare monthly IT infrastructure reports and present them to the IT Manager.

Oversee daily IT operations and report to the IT Manager.

B- Technical Support Knowledge and Job Responsibilities:
Monitor daily backup jobs such as Incremental, Full, and Differential backups on LTO library via Veritas backup software.

Possess knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.

Handle user ID creation, mailbox configuration, and quota setting.

Troubleshoot daily IT server and network-related calls according to end-user requirements.

Configure Group Policy for domain systems based on business requirements.

Install and configure Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019).

Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix virtualization concepts, and management of virtual servers.

Knowledge of Windows client and server patch management via WSUS.

Hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Database, including installation, configuration, and backup.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, including installation, site configuration, and management.

Manage antivirus servers and perform daily monitoring and scanning (e.g., McAfee, Symantec).

Monitor all servers and network devices across the site.

Conduct server hardware troubleshooting and assessments.

Install and configure SSL VPN clients.

Configure and monitor Site-to-Site VPN tunnels.

Possess domain configuration and management knowledge.

Basic understanding of PowerShell scripting.

Knowledge of RAID configurations (0, 1, 5, 10).

Configure and manage SAN and NAS storage devices (e.g., EMC, QNAP, Synology).

Possess knowledge of backup restoration and verification using Veritas tools.

Experience in Exchange Server 2010 backup, database creation, mailbox configuration, and management.

2-4 years of Experience

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Viman Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
