Assistant Cinematographer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cinematographer to join us at Falka. As a Cinematographer, you will be responsible for capturing visually stunning footage that brings our client’s vision to life. You will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to translate narratives & social media campaign themes into visually attractive videos.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Technical Expertise:

- Set up and manipulate lighting equipment to create the desired mood and atmosphere, and ensure proper composition and framing to enhance the visual treatment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in camera techniques, including but not limited to framing, focus, exposure, and camera movement, to achieve desired visual effects.
- Quality output:

- Work closely with directors and producers to understand project goals, themes, and visual requirements, and translate them into compelling visuals.
- Align the production level to the project’s scope.
- Assistance:

- Assisting the DOP on the shoots while observing and learning aspects of cinematography.
- Study & research:

- Study & research cinematography & direction with the aim of completing the training within the given timeframe.
- Keep up-to-date with the industry trends.
- Post-Production Support:

- Provide input during the post-production process, including reviewing footage.
- Put the post-production skills into action whenever required.
- Budget & equipment management:

- Manage per project equipment expense.
- Align the equipment cost to the project’s budget.
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting gear, and accessories, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

**Skills/Qualities**:

- Bachelor's degree in Cinematography, Film Production, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience or a portfolio of a Cinematographer or Director of Photography is preferred.
- Proficiency in any Video editing software (Adobe premiere pro, Da vinci resolve etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey creative ideas and collaborate with other team members.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
