**Job Summary**:
The Fire Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of effective fire safety measures within the manufacturing facility. The incumbent will collaborate with various departments to establish and enforce safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and provide training to employees. The primary goal is to minimize the risk of fire incidents and create a safe working environment for all employees.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and update fire safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct regular fire risk assessments and inspections of the manufacturing facility to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to establish emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness.
- Provide training to employees on fire safety procedures, equipment usage, and emergency evacuation protocols.
- Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, and alarm systems, ensuring they are in proper working order.
- Investigate and report on fire incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with local fire authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and participate in relevant fire safety forums or committees.
- Keep abreast of changes in fire safety regulations and industry best practices, and update company policies accordingly.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to fire safety standards.
- Monitor and analyze fire safety performance metrics, preparing reports for management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Fire Science, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Fire Safety Officer in a manufacturing environment.
- Certification in fire safety and emergency response procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of local fire safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and educate employees on fire safety practices.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to respond promptly in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with firefighting equipment and emergency response systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
