**Job Title: MIG Welder**

**Job Overview**:

- **As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for using MIG welding techniques to join metal components, ensuring the production of high-quality welds. You will work with various metals and thicknesses, interpreting blueprints and specifications to meet project requirements.**_

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Welding Operations**:

- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment.
- Select appropriate welding consumables, such as electrodes and shielding gas, based on the metal being welded.
- Adjust welding machines to achieve desired weld characteristics.
- Perform welding operations on metal components according to project specifications.

**2. Blueprint Reading**:

- Interpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Ensure accurate alignment and fit-up of components before welding.

**3. Quality Control**:

- Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Identify and rectify welding defects, such as porosity, incomplete fusion, or distortion.
- Conduct visual and, if required, non-destructive testing of welded joints.

**4. Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures.

**5. Equipment Maintenance**:

- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor.

**6. Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other members of the welding team, as well as other departments, to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and challenges.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**1. Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is preferred.

**2. Experience**: Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.

**3. Certifications**: Welding certifications may be required, depending on the industry and specific job requirements.

**4. Skills**:

- Proficient in MIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of various metals and their welding characteristics.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality welds.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and move heavy metal components.
- Stamina to work in physically demanding positions for extended periods.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Surat, Gujarat (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Surat, Gujarat: Relocate before starting work (required)
