- **Bridge Operation**:

- Operate mechanical or hydraulic systems to raise and lower the bridge in response to marine traffic or as directed by supervisors.
- Monitor bridge control panels and gauges to ensure proper functioning of all systems.
- Coordinate bridge operations with marine vessels, ensuring safe passage and minimizing disruption to traffic flow.
- **Safety Procedures**:

- Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of pedestrians, motorists, and marine traffic.
- Conduct regular inspections of bridge equipment and structures, reporting any issues or malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment on the bridge deck and control room.
- **Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with marine vessels, coordinating bridge openings and closures according to established schedules or on-demand requests.
- Provide clear instructions to motorists and pedestrians regarding bridge closures, detours, and alternative routes.
- Coordinate with dispatchers, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed during bridge operations or incidents.
- **Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate logs of bridge operations, including opening and closing times, traffic volumes, and any incidents or delays.
- Record maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed on bridge equipment and machinery.
- Compile operational data and reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide courteous and professional assistance to bridge users, answering inquiries and addressing concerns promptly.
- Foster positive relationships with the local community and stakeholders through proactive communication and responsiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience operating a bridge or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
