**The Association**:
The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) is a not-for-profit industry body (Trust), registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. With 540 members, including Indian and multinational corporations, as well as start-ups, IAMAI has been instrumental in shaping India’s digital economy. IAMAI advocates free and fair competition, and progressive and enabling laws for businesses as well as for consumers. The overarching objective of IAMAI is to ensure the progress of the internet and the digital economy. Its major areas of activities are public policy and advocacy, business to business conferences, research, promotion of start-ups and promotion of consumer trust and safety.

Role:

- As a Sales Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales team by generating leads, developing proposals, and assisting with client acquisition for our membership programs, events, and research publications. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to the Indian digital landscape and equip you with the skills necessary to excel in a sales career.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify potential new members and research leads.
- Assist the sales team with creating compelling presentations and proposals.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Attend industry events and conferences to network with potential clients (as assigned).
- Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (business administration, marketing, communication, or a related field preferred).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A keen interest in the Indian digital industry and technology trends.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn.
