We are looking for an Advisor - Controllership to be responsible for providing the business with timely and accurate financial statements and analysis in accordance with the IFRS and Rio Tinto policies.

**What the role entails**

This position is an excellent opportunity to join the regional team based in Gurugram. This dynamic team is responsible to deliver optimal controllership support to Product Groups and all Business Units (BU). The team is responsible for coordinating and ensuring a high quality of all accounting, financial reporting, technical support and compliance services are delivered to all Business Units**.**

**Reporting line**:Sr. Advisor - Controllership

**Scope**:Your scope will include (but not limited to) below:

- Review and analysis of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results that will serve for external and management reporting
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Manage Dividend Transactions, Lease Agreements and Complex Accounting Assessments, Etc.
- Partner with the Closing & Reporting (C&R) and Finance Business Partners (FBPs) team to enhance financial services provided to the BUs.
- Ensure compliance with adequate internal controls SOX standard and Rio Tinto’s accounting policies
- Review Statutory Financials and prepare Financial Summary for Board Meetings
- Lead & manage the Statutory Audits & Group Reporting for allocated remit
- Support Other Internal and External Audits

**About Yourself**
- Chartered Accountant qualification with post qualification experience of 6-8years.
- Experience of IFRS and Indian GAAP reporting
- Matrix set up or multiple geography accounting/consolidation experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and advanced Excel skills
