Must have exp in foam pad or foam design with seating Background
- Product Design Experience in automotive foam Pads
- Good Understanding of foam pad A and B side Surfaces, trim tie downs, over - Builds, Minimum radii etc.
- Good understanding of manufacturing process is expected: Tooling Considerations
- various types test procedures etc.
- Experience in CAD design of foam pads, A and B sides using UGNX will be Essential.
- Experience in complete seat is advantageous
- Flexible to learn other seating commodities like plastics etc.
- Develop and lead a team of design engineers to achieve the program deliverables
- Mentoring of the team via formal and hands on training programs.
- Key owner for teams’ performance appraisal
- Leads the customer and internal design and program reviews.
- Ensures that everyone in the team is aligned towards the organizational expectations.
- Process oriented approach
- Good verbal and written communication skills
