Description

**Responsibilities**
- In this role, one Create, communicate, and maintain security policies, standards, and guidelines applicable to software products.
- Conduct security assessments on business products and solutions.
- Create, define, and implement security controls and tooling in conjunction with product development teams and product owners. Y
- Also work in conjunction with security stakeholders in other areas of the business and make decisions and help lead initiatives to ensure timely delivery of security solutions that support business objectives.
- Understand the existing Sunquest products and the security architectures. Analyze security issues and risks and develop mitigation plan.
- Good knowledge of OS, Network security, firewall, routers, IDS/IPS, Data encryption and related tools/technologies.
- Build Application security architecture for products/services that would be developed using containers. Knowledge of containers, network isolation, secure engineering practices, and identity and access management are preferred.
- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
- Performing penetration assessments to attack architecture is a plus.
- Would work closely with the Sales, product management and product development teams.
- Conduct a deep dive into difficult architecture decisions around complex challenges.
- Partner with the engineering department for Secure Architecture Code Reviews and defining security requirements.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES**
- Ability to take general direction and work independently to solve problems
- Rich experience in cloud (Azure & AWS) and infrastructure security architecture & design.
- Experience in writing secure code, doing threat modeling, research into security standards, and/or architecting secure software early in the SDLC is preferred.
- Good knowledge of security testing tools like Acunetix, Veracode, Sonarqube for product security scanning and vulnerability management is added advantage.
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI and other industry compliance/standards. An understanding of the ISO 27001/27002, COBIT, and ITIL frameworks are required.

**TRAINING and Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Science
- Preferrable to have CISPP, Azure or AWS security certification.
- Previous experience in healthcare IT development and deployment is preferred.
