**Qualifications **- Graduation/PG in any degree. Freshers or experienced individuals in customer care services.

**Reporting To**: Team Lead - Patient Care Services (OP)

**Characteristics and Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities**

Ø Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with people politely, actively listen to the people.

Ø Multi-tasking ability.

Ø Good interpersonal skills.

Ø Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.

Ø Competence in operating office equipment, such as computers, printers, scanners, and multi-line phone systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø Greeting and Assisting Visitors, Welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and friendly manner.

Ø Provide information about OPD services, procedures, and any necessary pre-appointment instructions

Ø Direct visitors to the appropriate departments or individuals within the hospital.

Ø Provide information about hospital services, facilities, and directions as needed.

Ø Register patients by collecting necessary personal information and assisting patients in filling out patient registration forms and verify existing patient information accurately.

Ø If the patient is covered by insurance, direct the patient to the insurance department and advise the patient regarding the process.

Ø Maintain patient records and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Ø Ensure availability of doctors at the time of appointment scheduling.

Ø Schedule appointments for patients with doctors, specialists, or other healthcare providers.

Ø Coordinate with doctors and medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and minimize waiting times.

Ø Remind patients of upcoming appointments and provide necessary instructions.

Ø Address patient concerns, complaints, and requests effectively, escalating as necessary.

Ø Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues related to patient care and services.

Ø Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including Hospital information system (HIS).

Ø Complete administrative tasks such as filing, data entry if required.

Ø Assist with other administrative duties and projects as assigned.

Ø Compliance and Quality Assurance, Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Ø Follow established protocols for patient safety and infection control

Ø Participate in training and quality improvement initiatives as needed

**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Ø Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Ø Participates in the Staff Welfare Meetings and Sr.Team Meeting if required.
