QUALIFICATION
- DIPLOMA OR B TECH IN TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY WITH MINIMUM 7 YEAR RELEVENT EXPERIENCE

**Responsibilities**:
1. This position performs performance, chemical and physical testing of samples such as fabrics, garments, accessories, and other soft goods among others to determine performance properties as well as other characteristics.

2. Performs routine laboratory testing, following the relevant company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and methods. Validate performance on methods as required.

3. Test to applicable standards and customer-specific protocols develop, write, review, perform and validate test methods, laboratory SOPs, and other department level operating and quality documents.

4. Ensure compliance with all required local and federal safety processes and procedures.

5. May assist in limited internal support to marketing, sales, customer service, and laboratory operations regarding the test, report, and other technical information.

6. Complete and maintain all laboratory reports.

7. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Quality Assurance/Quality Control checks on equipment.

8. Assist in keeping inventory of laboratory chemicals and equipment necessary for the day to day functioning of the laboratory and in compiling a list of supplies to be ordered when needed.

9. Assists in calibration/verification tasks and other ISO 17025 related activities.

10. Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) relevant for tasks is worn at all times.

11. Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.

12. Maintenance of all chemicals records (Purchase, Usage, Inventory, Disposal - Hazardous and Non Hazardous) involved in the process.

13. Periodical Testing of the substances

14. Analyze the test records (Air, Water, Noise, Wastewater) periodically,

15. Implement the company policy standards with regard to the chemical purchase, handling disposal etc

16. Periodical training / Awareness to be provided to the employees who are involved in using the chemicals.

17. Implement MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) in all the areas where the chemicals are stored.

18. MSDS placed should be in the understandable language of the majority of the employees.

19. Attend training programs and get updated to the environmental issues and the chemical usage disposal.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- as têxtile lab in charge: 7 years (preferred)
