Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Gather and analyze information; design and code data processes, build reports, dashboards and data visualizations; contribute to the development and communication of recommendations; help leadership make informed business decisions as regards assigned projects.
- Manage coding and extraction of data to conduct thorough analysis
- Document logic and data definitions for a non-technical audience
- Uncover business insights through data mining and data analysis
- Identify key trends and data characteristics within the data sets that require further investigation
- Use analysis to generate business recommendations (e.g., to improve profitability or increase market share)
- Facility with displaying complex data in a simple, easily understood manner
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ensure close collaboration with the rest of the team as well as stakeholders
- Foster professional, positive relationships with all stakeholders in the workplace

Other Duties:

- Proactively pursue professional development activities (e.g., learning new tools and techniques)
- Perform internal training and knowledge-sharing

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND TRAITS

Experience
- Total of 3 to 6 years’ experience with at least 2 years’ experience working on dashboard creation and data visualization as part of analytical reporting

Education
- Required: Bachelors degree OR Post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology or Related Field

Tools/Software Knowledge
- Required: Proficiency coding in SQL
- Required: Experience using Tableau or Power BI (knowledge of both a plus)
- Required: Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
- Preferred: Microsoft Power Query, Power Automate skills
- Preferred: Advanced Excel skills
- Preferred: ETL knowledge
- Preferred: Operational or Process Improvement experience

Essential Skills and Traits
- Strong analytical skills; capable of multi-tasking in fast-paced, dynamic environment

Travel requirements: Limited to 1-2 weeks a year (if any)
