**Your field of responsibility**

In the Global FX&OTC Ops business, Settlement is a critical function. It consists of products such as OTC, Foreign Exchange, and Money Market.

Primary Responsibilities for the role would include but are not limited to the below:

- Contact point for managers, internal and external clients
- Handholding queries from Front Office/Middle Office/Internal-External Stakeholders
- Communicate and build partnership with External Clients - fundamental part of the role
- Implement day to day processing e.g. Pre-matching, Fails, Confirmation, Settlements, Break Resolution etc.
- Settling payments for counterparties and where appropriate, takes action on own, without waiting for direction.
- Persists and continues to strive for a goal despite obstacles and setbacks
- Implement controls on the day to day processing
- Understanding the importance of routine and consistency, work towards achieving set goals (meeting deadlines)
- Execute strategic and tactical solutions, inclusive of standardization of processes, UAT testing etc.
- Timely escalation on issues/ aged breaks
- Participate actively in cross trainings, BCP testing and Business Initiatives
- Identify process-improvements to create efficiency.

**Your skills and experience**

You are expected to possess the below:

- Basic knowledge on settlement functions for products such as OTC & Foreign Exchange
- Attention to detail, pro-activeness, good communication skills, client & control-focused approach, positive attitude.
- To have effective problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, complete/review checklists and procedures whilst working on strict deadlines is essential requirement
- Self-motivated individual who can manage work on own initiative and deliver on time whilst also being phenomenal team-player
- A pro-active approach is expected that will challenge processes whilst working with the business providing a quality customer service daily
