**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**

We, at Flywire, are looking for a Security Penetration Tester with a passion for tackling big problems. We need an elite red teamer that can help protect the Flywire infrastructure and platform.

Are you the type of person who tries to figure out if a system has weaknesses, and tries to exploit them in your spare time? Are you curious about technology and hunting for attacker activity? You will need a desire to tinker until it is reliable, robust, and secure.
- Provide cloud infrastructure penetration testing (Internal, external).
- Web Application and API Testing.
- Review code vulnerabilities and detect if they are false positives or not.
- Purple team exercises, work with the blue team to improve the detection and alerts.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to solve the security problems that we found, working closely with the developers team, SRE team and IT team.
- Red team exercises to test all the security measures that we have in place in Flywire.
- Manage a bug bounty program.

**Qualifications**:
**Here’s What We’re Looking For**:

- Bachelor of Science and at least 4+ years’ experience in IT security and Penetration Testing.
- Knowledge about OWASP top 10, malware, electronic fraud, computer intrusion, identity theft, denial of services, and other potential security threats.
- Experience with code security reviews, static and dynamic code analysis tools (checkmarx, veracode )
- Knowledge of development languages (ruby, java, python )
- Knowledge about agile environments, CI-CD development and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Active on bug bounty platforms
- Have a broad and advanced understanding of various commercial, open-source, and freeware penetration test tools, experience in using the Kali **Linux** suite
- An understanding of network and platform security strategies, and implementation practices.
- A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
- Been responsible for writing and reviewing informal penetration test reports.
- Documenting the details of a penetration test and all vulnerabilities, potential issues, and strengths found during the test.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical co-workers in a clear and concise manner.
