Project Coordinator - Residential Construction
Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting and ensuring the successful completion of projects. This individual will coordinate schedules, resources, communication, and documentation, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, contractors, architects, suppliers, and clients to maintain smooth project operations.
Key Responsibilities:
**Project Planning and Scheduling**:
- Assist in the development of project timelines, work schedules, and milestones.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and reports.
- Track project budgets and expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
- Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders.
**Team Coordination**:
- Communicate project details and updates to all stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Schedule and coordinate on-site activities to minimize delays.
- Ensure all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
**Quality Assurance and Compliance**:
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Conduct site visits to oversee progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
**Procurement and Logistics**:
- Coordinate the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery to the site.
- Maintain inventory records and manage material requests from contractors.
**Problem Solving and Risk Management**:
- Identify potential risks or issues and implement solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
- Resolve conflicts between contractors, suppliers, or other stakeholders.
**Client Communication**:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on project progress.
- Manage change requests and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred.
**Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in residential construction.
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is an advantage.
**Competencies**:
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure.
- Leadership qualities to motivate teams and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
