We are a team from the Manipal Institute of Technology working on a project to identify patterns and trends in the acceptance of Male contraception over the past few years, using relevant Twitter data. We are looking for an annotator who is self-motivated, has attention to detail, is driven towards the task at hand, and is ready to contribute by manually reading data, to help with the task of categorizing texts.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Work with our NLP research team to provide high-quality data annotations.
- Manually read through texts and understand the technical and social context, and use the same to categorize it, i.e. provide accurate labels to the text.
- Take ownership of annotating data for training AI models and undergoing analysis to infer results.

**Requirements**:

- Secondary Education, and preferably general knowledge in linguistics, humanities, social science, cognitive sciences or similar fields.
- Ability to work independently and on large text data
- Basic understanding of male contraceptive methods used globally
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
