Mill Man

**Areas of Responsibility**:
Responsible for operating and maintaining milling machines that grind materials.

Gather raw materials for production and assist with the inventory of all materials.

Safely and skillfully operates a cold milling machine following all standard equipment procedures.

Responsible for proper usage of grade control devices.

Maintains equipment in proper operating condition by performing simple preventive maintenance and repair tasks such as adjusting, fluid checks, replacing minor parts and lubricating equipment.

Responsible for daily checks of the milling drum, conveyors and water supply systems.

Responsible for daily inspection and replacement of milling teeth on the milling drum to assure proper cutting patterns on pavement surfaces.

Must maintain an acute sense of awareness to the surrounding footprint of the machine (watch for obstructions while operating the equipment, such as ground utilities, curb and gutters).

Maintain constant visual contact with co-workers on the shop floor.

Must perform general laborer duties as assigned.

**Job Competencies**:
Knowledge: Milling Machine operating knowledge

Skills: Job requires the following motions: stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, walking, standing, reaching and squatting.

Attitude: Proactive than reactive, methodical and rational approach

Qualification and Age: 8th or 10th with 3 to 4 years Experince

Experience & industry: Perference to Rubber or Tyre Industries experience operating a Milling Machine.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
