**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a dynamic and engaging curriculum that promotes learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable to express themselves and develop social skills.
- Design and set up learning centers that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent exploration.
- Observe and assess children's developmental progress and tailor instruction to meet individual needs.
- Foster positive relationships with parents through regular communication, parent-teacher conferences, and sharing of children's achievements and challenges.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate special events, field trips, and parent involvement activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress reports, and developmental milestones.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children by following proper procedures for supervision, hygiene, and emergency preparedness.
- Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Uphold the values and mission of the preschool, promoting a culture of respect, diversity, and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- State certification or licensure for preschool teaching (if required by local regulations).
- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education theories, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies and activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools and resources for enhancing instruction and assessment.
- CPR and first aid certification (may be required depending on regulations and policies).
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices.

**Working Conditions**:

- The Preschool Teacher will primarily work indoors in a classroom setting, with occasional outdoor activities and field trips.
- The teacher may work a full-time or part-time schedule, depending on the needs of the preschool and enrollment levels.
- Flexibility in scheduling may be required to accommodate special events, meetings, and parent conferences.
- The environment may be noisy and active, with frequent interaction with young children and other staff members.
