**Job Purpose**:
The job involves monitoring and analyzing the process parameters to be maintained in the various production targets in the Red area, maintaining and updating the management information systems for various calculations, ensuring the quality of the input, in-process and output product from Redarea, managing routine/non routine operations in shift-on-shift basis, carry out of process LOTO and ISOLATION, issue of Work permits for various maintenance jobs to be executed in shift, manpower allocation in shift.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:
**Functional Skills**:

- Ability to control and monitor the process parameters of the production process in the Redarea
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to maintain and update the MIS
- Problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge on PTW system
- Knowledge on Vedanta safety standards
- Knowledge of 5S system
- Awareness on Emergency Preparedness
- HR Policy
- Awareness on Maintenance Practices

**Technical Skills**:
Knowledge of Business Plan targets & Specific Consumption targets

Knowledge of various operational & quality parameters and troubleshooting

Operational knowledge about various types of equipments like pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, agitators, vacuum pumps, filters, cyclone separatorsetc

Knowledge about SOPs, interlocks, alarms and trip settings

Knowledge of Alumina Process Technology

Knowledge on operational SOPs.

Knowledge on troubleshooting.

Quality consciousness

Awareness on Operating Parameters

**Educational Qualification**:

- BE/B.Tech
- Chemical Engineering/B.Sc. - Chemistry with experience in relevant domain.
- B.Tech in chemical engineering 06 - 10 yrs of experience/B.Sc. PCM with 10 to 14 years
- The selection of resumes must include project, commissioning, evaporators, heat exchangers, HAZOP/ Risk assessment knowledge, PTW system
