**Introduction**
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
As a DataStage Lead, You will be involved in Solution Design, Development, Enhancement, Maintenance including Business requirement, of Enterprise Data warehouses and implementingETL solution fulfilling stringent performance requirement, Data & ETL(DataStage) Migration Projects, ETL (DataStage) Optimization, ETL Framework.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
15 + years of IT experience in Solution Design, Development,Enhancement, Maintenance including Business requirement, of Enterprise Data warehouses as a Project Manager/Lead.
- Hands on experience DataStage 7.5.X,8.5 X,9x & 11x,IBM Information Analyzer with Knowledge/exposure to TWS or equivalentScheduling Tool, IIAS/DB2 Database,
- Expertise in implementing ETL solution fulfilling stringent performance requirement, Data & ETL(DataStage) Migration Projects,ETL (DataStage) Optimization, ETL Framework
- Experience in developing full SDLC project plans to implement ETL solution ,Data Warehouse Implementation, Should be ableto support COGNOS reporting and Datalake on IBM Cloud related activities from Data warehouse perspective
- Experience in Managing build phase and quality assure code to ensure fulfilling requirements and adhering to architecture.
- Experience in Extraction, Transformation and Loading of data from heterogeneous source, structured unstructured data.
- Expertise in doing the Root Cause Analysis and resolving performance bottlenecks and optimization of the ETL jobs.
- Ability to coordinate the flow of development initiatives and Experience in Requirement Analysis, Design, Development.
- Management skills include Team Management, Project Planning, Monitoring, and self-starter with good written/oral communicationskills and ability to work with the team including coordination with other tracks such as Data Lake, BI, data governance
- Extensive experience in Client Facing role and Stakeholder Management (Client & Internal)
- Experience in leading a team of minimum 25 members
- Good to have: Exposure to Knowledge of IBM IDR/ CDC Tools, Knowledge of SFG, Knowledge of ETL Grid/ LSF/ GPFS, Knowledgeof Quality Stage, IA & IGC, and Datalake implementation on IBM Cloud. Watson, Studio, sql

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Hands on experience in DataStage is mandatory
