**Job Description**:
Conduct topographic surveys to map the terrain, including the elevation, contours, slopes, and natural features of the railway corridor. This information is essential for route planning, alignment design, and earthwork calculations.
Determine the alignment and layout of railway tracks, including horizontal and vertical curves, straight sections, and transition zones. Surveyors use specialized equipment such as total stations and GPS receivers to establish precise alignments based on project specifications and design requirements.
Define and delineate the boundaries of the railway right-of-way, including property lines, easements, and land acquisition boundaries. Surveyors work closely with landowners, legal authorities, and project stakeholders to establish accurate right-of-way boundaries and resolve boundary disputes.
