Business Intelligence Administrator

**Job Overview**:
This role is based 100% in Bengaluru in India. Occasional international travel may be required for company events, special team meetings and/or workshops. There is also a requirement to be on-call.

Designing, improving and solving issues with BI solutions for Arm’s business operations. You will complete BI projects and maintain live services as the BI specialist in a cross-disciplinary and geographically diverse team. Have deep technical expertise in Business Intelligence technologies, methods, and practices.

**Responsibilities**:
Core responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

- Leading the full development lifecycle of BI platforms in line with business requirements.
- Continuous improvement.
- Ensure sustained security and performance levels for BI platforms including responding to and resolving incidents.

**Required Skills and Experience**:
A strong IT background with a proven track record in complex BI projects. Hold at least a B.Tech in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with at least 6 years of overall experience in a similar role within a large, global organisation. Deep technical proficiency in building BI solutions. A successful history of performing as the technical lead, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is needed. Ability to work autonomously, with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest industry developments.

**COMPETENCIES**:
**TECHNICAL**:

- Administration and configuration for BI tools (PowerBI and Tableau), including user access management, security, and performance tuning.
- Familiar with programming languages like SQL, JAVA,.NET, Python for scripting and task automation
- Data security standard practices.
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to data quality, system performance, or integration problems.
- Monitoring and logging systems to track system performance, data loads, and user activity.
- Backup and recovery procedures to ensure data continuity in case of system failures or disasters.

**PROCESS**:

- Solution development in a DevSecOps environment.
- Handle release and deployment of changes.
- Handle the lifecycle of problems that cause or may cause BI incidents with a focus on preventing future issues.
- Own documentation creation and knowledge creation processes.
- Continuous improvement

**LEADERSHIP & PEOPLE SKILLS**:

- Highly proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to follow a clear vision from, and convey ideas and give feedback to, the Technical Team Lead
- Actively participate and foster a positive team spirit and can-do attitude.
- Be comfortable to raise issues and concerns.

**“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience**:

- DESIRABLE: Write scripts and automate routine tasks, such as data loading, report generation, and system maintenance;
- Optional certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate; Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate; AWS Certified Data Analytics
