We are looking for an Safety Officer for one of the coke oven engineering providing company

**Experience:

- ** Minimum Experience required is 3 years in coke oven or steel plant. **Salary range - **15000 to 20000 + Accommodation + Food on site Job location - Kharagpur industrial area, Company's head office is at Kolkata.

**Job role:

- ** Safety officer is more concerned with fulfilling statutory requirements and not to design,commission or operate electrical equipment. He is required to guide the electrical engineers in line with safety procedures as laid down in safety system adopted by the organisation.Identify and assess hazards, risks, and control measures for a specific operation or process. Conduct ongoing review of operations and processes to identify potential hazards, risks and control measures that should be implemented to reduce these risks, including all costs involved in implementing such measures. Assess and document hazards, risks and controls in a manner consistent with established procedures and practices. Set up and supervising temporary work areas. Supervise the safe handling, storage & disposal of hazardous materials. Supervise the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace. Improve workplace safety and employee productivity by transitioning from manual safety procedures to digital safety management systems. Provide Safety training. Conduct tool box meeting. Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed. Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and refer them to the proper authorities. Willing to relocate to any project sites, PAN India basis.
