Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Health, Environment & Safety Officer to join our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) site at Jharsuguda. The Health, Environment & Safety Officer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Environment & Safety protocols, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees engaged in Techno-Vehicle maintenance activities.

**Requirements**:
Ø **Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.**

**Ø Health, Environment & Safety degree PDIS equivalent.**

**Ø Minimum of 2 years of experience in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or manufacturing company.**

Ø Knowledge of Health, Environment & Safety regulations and standards applicable to the maintenance and manufacturing industry.

Ø Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ø Ability to conduct Health, Environment & Safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Ø Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.

**Responsibilities**:
Ø Develop, implement, and enforce Health, Environment & Safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Ø Conduct regular Health, Environment & Safety inspections and audits of the O&M site, equipment, and vehicles to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.

Ø Provide Health, Environment & Safety training and orientation to new employees and contractors.

Ø Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventive measures.

Ø Maintain records of Health, Environment & Safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.

Ø Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to address Health, Environment & Safety concerns and implement best practices.

Ø Participate in Health, Environment & Safety meetings and committees to promote a culture of Health, Environment & Safety and continuous improvement.

Ø Monitor and review Health, Environment & Safety performance metrics and develop strategies to improve Health, Environment & Safety performance.

Ø Coordinate emergency response procedures and ensure emergency equipment is maintained and readily accessible.

Ø Stay updated on changes in Health, Environment & Safety regulations and industry best practices and communicate relevant information to management and employees.

Salary and Benefits:
Maximum salary of Rs. 30,000/- CTC per month.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹1,604,501.37 per month
