**_JOB DESCRIPTION_**

**_JOB TITLE:_**_ Supply Chain Planner_

**_Reports To:_**_ Supply Chain Manager_

**_Role Type:_**_ Individual Contributor _

**_Location:_**_ Pune_

**_Purpose of the role:_**
- Supply Chain Planner is responsible for coordinating assets to optimize the delivery of goods, services and information from supplier to domestic and global customers. Balancing supply and demand (ensuring maximum service with optimization of Inventory)._

**_Responsibilities_**
- _Execute all supply chain planning related work for Channel / Product line._
- _S&OP of Product group, capacity booking and Monthly Input/output Control._
- _Performs forecasts of product demand to meet market needs._
- _Plan and prepare production schedule based on forecasts to satisfy customer demand._
- _Interface with sales to acquire information on future orders, market trends and extraordinary circumstances._
- _Establish Supply Delivery Conditions, Procedures and Parameter Values._
- _Analysis and monitoring of customer service and Stockout, Flow KPIs like Prodperf, Supperf, Manufacturing Leadtime and related improvement actions._
- _Maintaining SC related fields in various masters in MAPICS, SCSS, SO99+ and OMPS and Central Prodmast & Inventory management for FGS and Mfg. stock items._
- _Execution of MRP, Procurement Order & Supply Schedules (Call-offs) issue._
- _Establish Supply Channel contracts which considers delivery condition, procedure and parameter values. _
- _Represent Supply Chain in external as well as internal audits_._

**_Metrics_**
- _Inventory management for Product line._
- _Customer service balance for Product line_
- _Product Forecasting and Capacity booking for Product line._
- _Implementation of global supply chain strategies for Product line_

**_Competencies_**
- _Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills _
- _Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written) _
- _Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities. _
- _Bachelor of Engineering Mechanical/Production/Industrial engineering_
- _3-8 years of experience in the relevant field. _
- _Certification in CPIM is preferable._
