Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: MDs in Medicine primarily provide direct patient care. This involves conducting comprehensive medical examinations, taking detailed medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and formulating treatment plans for various medical conditions.

Diagnosis and Treatment: As an MD in Medicine, you will diagnose and treat a diverse range of medical conditions, such as cardiovascular diseases, respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal issues, endocrine disorders, infectious diseases, and other internal health problems.

Medical Consultations: You may be required to provide medical consultations to patients referred by other healthcare providers or specialists for further evaluation and management.

Hospital Rounds: Many MDs in Medicine work in hospitals and are responsible for conducting rounds, which involve assessing and monitoring patients admitted to the hospital, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Medication Management: Prescribing and managing medications is a crucial aspect of the job. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate medications, adjusting dosages, and monitoring their efficacy and potential side effects.

Disease Prevention and Health Promotion: MDs in Medicine focus not only on treating existing medical conditions but also on preventing diseases and promoting overall health. You may provide advice on lifestyle modifications, vaccinations, and screenings.

Patient Education: Educating patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle changes is an essential part of the role. You'll need to communicate complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.

Continuity of Care: MDs in Medicine often have ongoing relationships with their patients, providing continuity of care for chronic conditions and managing their long-term health needs.
