**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Position Title**:Maintenance Planner

**Reports To**: Factory Maintenance Manager

**Role Type**: Individual Contributor

**Location**: Pune

**Purpose of the role**:
Plan, monitor & update an effective & efficient maintenance program to ensure the reliability of the equipment as per Maintenance Excellence handbook.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare preventive maintenance planning and scheduling with different time horizons in consultation with the maintenance team & considering the task lists generated for each machine.
- Coordinate with production & other support functions for the timely release of the equipments for performing the planned maintenance tasks.
- Plan for the right resources - people, tools & spares.
- Measure the effectiveness of the maintenance program (task, frequency) and update the task list accordingly.
- Measure the efficiency of the maintenance program (Rework, man hours spent) and update the program accordingly.
- Ensure the updation of the maintenance program based on the learning (break down, RCFA).
- Support the team to prepare the maintenance budget & provide input, alert by monitoring the actual vs. planned budget.
- Ensure the effective utilization of CMMS (API /FTM) for reporting, data capturing & analyzing by all maintenance members.
- Lead the creation, maintenance, follow-up & updating of the Maintenance related single point lessons, standard job instructions.
- Monitor & report the maintenance KPI s (MTBF, MTTR, Planned Vs Unplanned Maintenance hours, Wrench hour etc.)
- Work as a stop coordinator for bigger stops including block closures where several people and skills are involved.
- Ensure the availability of latest drawings & manuals for all equipment.

- MTTR and MTBF
- C time development.
- Planning Horizon in days.
- No. of Standard job plans.
- No. of PM and Predictive adjustments.
- No. of Machines under SRCM

**Competencies**
- Resource management.
- CMMS expertise
- Planning and Scheduling.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of CBM & TBM for spindles and other critical assets.
- Knowledge of new trends in IOT platforms and its utilization in maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of DFMEA & PFMEA and SRCM
- Kaizens and improvement projects.

**Education & Experience**
- BE Mechanical with +8 years in maintenance.
- Demonstrated planning and scheduling expertise.
