Job Title: Emergency Medical Officer (EMO)

**Job Description**:
The Emergency Medical Officer (EMO) plays a critical role in providing immediate medical care and coordination in the emergency department of the MD Hospital. The primary responsibility of the EMO is to assess, diagnose, and initiate treatment for patients presenting with medical emergencies.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Provide prompt and efficient medical care to patients arriving in the emergency department.

2. Conduct initial assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as necessary.

3. Diagnose medical conditions and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

4. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

5. Administer emergency medical treatments, such as resuscitation, stabilization, and pain management.

6. Monitor patients' conditions closely and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

7. Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis.

8. Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately and in a timely manner.

9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital protocols and guidelines.

10. Stay updated on advances in emergency medicine through continuing education and professional development activities.

**Requirements**:
1. Medical degree from an accredited institution.

2. Valid medical license.

3. Strong clinical skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to make quick and accurate decisions in emergency situations.

8. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient safety.

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Night shift
