**MIS Coordinator**

**The Inclusivity Project (TIP) is looking for a MIS Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position working with Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (CDWD) across the world and grassroots organizations working with the communities to advance their human rights.**

**Background**

The Inclusivity Project (TIP) is a research and policy analysis organization that conducts research on the under-developed, under-reached and invisible communities in the world through ground-level research data, evidence and information to the world. TIP aims to map these communities and build their capacities through training, study courses, conferences, discussion groups, and exposure visits for understanding the conditions and magnitude of their concerns. The organization works extensively on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and International Human Rights Law, especially on the monitoring and follow up/review as well as providing data and evidence for effective and inclusive program implementation.

TIP works closely with the Global Forum of Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (GFoD). The network organization is the global coordination and engagement mechanism for the Stakeholder Group of Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (SG-CDWD) before the United Nations High Level Political Forum. GFoD works with Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (CDWD) at the grassroots level to build research and data on the issues faced by CDWD and advocate for the rights of these communities at the national, regional and global levels.

**Role purpose**

The MIS Coordinator will lead TIP’s Monitoring and Evaluation efforts at regional and international levels. The Management Information Systems (MIS) Coordinator works within a multi-layered role to document of planned activities, output and outcome of the MIS team on the Communities Discriminated on Work and Descent (CDWD) at regional and project level to build monitor the progress and advancement of our objective faced by CDWD and advocate for the rights of these communities at the national, regional and global levels. The MIS Coordinator tracks MIS activities, monitoring and evaluation with the global, regional and national project activities and country programs teams, facilitates meetings and events, provides calendaring support, and communicates assigned follow up duties through active note taking activities. The MIS Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a balancing multiple priorities, leading to effective intra and inter-project knowledge sharing.

**Responsibilities**

Support and guide the programme team in developing the monitoring and evaluation tools to assess the performance of different projects at all levels.

Assist data collection, project monitoring, evaluation, documentation, and reporting requirements.

Provide orientation and build capacities of the programme team to enable them to monitor and evaluate their own activities, gather relevant data and produce outcome oriented progress, activity and narrative reports.

Provide support in planning, monitoring, analyzing and troubleshooting IT frameworks.

Composing job descriptions for new positions, and helping with meeting and enlistment measures.

Looking after, overseeing, and refreshing software systems especially in monitoring and evaluation.

Managing the expansion and maintenance of websites and guaranteeing the safety of clients’ information.

Documenting and supporting Dashboard CDWD data location wise.

Other program and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Director

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:
Post graduate and above degree required.

Minimum of 4 years of experience working with MIS systems or other relevant experience required

Strong knowledge of International Human Rights Law relating to vulnerable groups, particularly communities discriminated on work and descent, women, children, people with disabilities, and the LGBTQ+ communities and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Ability to build and maintain good partnerships with civil society, network organizations, and grassroots activists.

Excellent writing and communication skills in English and at least in another UN language

Proficient in MS Office, database management systems.

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
