Transport Management: Partnering with an existing manager to supervise daily vehicles
operation. Engaging with drivers, end client side transport team / Admin team to ensure no gap
in communication and resolving issue tickets.
- Vehicle Repair & Maintenance: Coordinating with existing mechanics to identify vehicle
maintenance issues. Ensure vehicle periodic maintenance by setting up an SOP. Create a new
model of predictive maintenance by employing already existing custom software.
- MIS / Documents / Report Handling: Prepare monthly MIS - like total KM run, total no. of driver
absentees, vehicle mileage trends, driver incentives based on diesel mileage, driver deduction
based on non-performance (all of the above is available from software, just need to recognise patterns
and make decisions)
- Driver Engagement with Meetings & Training Programs: Engage drivers with periodic
meetings, record grievances, come up with solutions and ways to address driver centric issues.
Design and implement driver incentive programs, mileage increase programs. Foster a culture
of adhering to company rules and protocols. Identify resources to conduct monthly driver
enhancement program - like de-addiction, road safety, defensive driving, prevention of sexual
harrasment course.
- Managing vehicle documents: Manage vehicle document expiries, like Insurance, Road Tax,
Pollution certificate, Permit validity. Coordinate with already existing vendors and contacts
regarding renewals. Scope for cost cutting. (all of the above is available from software, just need to
recognise patterns and make decisions)
