Junior Physiotherapist

It is to help the people struggling with or working towards preventing mobility disorders, which occurred due to chronic ailments, trauma or sports injury.

**Physiotherapist (MSK)**:
In this role, you will be needed to visit patients in their own home. You may have to travel between appointments for the same. You will get to work with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular, respiratory etc sometimes over a period of weeks.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate patients to determine whether physiotherapy interventions are necessary.
- Assess patients in accordance with the professional practice guidelines and standards.
- Treat patients with movement disorders that were acquired through injury or have been present since birth.
- Regularly measure patient progress by looking for signs of decreased stiffness, pain, and discomfort.
- Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress.
- Document patient medical progress and treatment; record notes to update medical information.
- Educate patient family members, caretakers, or close friends on the patients.
- Conduct home visits for patients who cannot be consulted over the phone.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Degree level education or higher in Physiotherapy.
- Experience in core clinical areas, with a specific interest and knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and rehabilitation options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and knowledge of treatment skills.
- Demonstrate confident telephone skills using effective listening and empathy with employees and stakeholders.
