**Job Title**: Journalism Trainer

**Position Overview**: As a Journalism Trainer for “Curiosity Learners,” you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering engaging and effective training programs to individuals eager to learn about journalism principles and practices. Leveraging your expertise in journalism, storytelling, investigative reporting, and multimedia journalism, you will guide curiosity learners through hands-on projects, real-world case studies, and ethical dilemmas, empowering them to become informed and responsible journalists. This role requires a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of journalistic integrity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and deliver structured training modules covering journalism fundamentals, including news writing, interviewing techniques, research skills, fact-checking, and media ethics.
- Design interactive and experiential learning activities, such as newsroom simulations, reporting assignments, multimedia storytelling projects, and investigative journalism workshops, to facilitate skill development and practical experience.
- Provide personalized feedback and coaching to learners, offering support, guidance, and constructive critique to help them refine their reporting skills and develop their unique journalistic voice.
- Facilitate discussions and debates on journalism ethics, media bias, misinformation, and the role of journalism in society, fostering critical thinking and ethical decision-making among learners.
- Incorporate real-world news stories and current events into the curriculum to provide learners with relevant and timely examples of journalistic practices and challenges.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in journalism trends, digital media technologies, and newsroom workflows, and integrate relevant updates into the training curriculum.
- Organize guest lectures, industry panels, and networking events to provide learners with insights into the field of journalism and opportunities to connect with media professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, diversity of perspectives, and professional growth among learners.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journalist, reporter, editor, or journalism educator, with a strong background in news gathering, writing, and multimedia storytelling.
- Proven track record of successful journalism instruction, with experience teaching learners of varying backgrounds and skill levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and create a supportive learning environment.
- Strong knowledge of journalistic principles, ethics, and practices, with a commitment to accuracy, fairness, and impartiality in reporting.
- Familiarity with digital media technologies, social media platforms, and multimedia storytelling tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, data visualization software) is desirable.
- Experience with instructional design principles and adult learning theory is a plus.
- Teaching certification or relevant professional credentials are desirable.

**Interview Time**: Sunday 12 PM to 3 PM

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 36 months

**Salary**: ₹13,700.00 - ₹78,337.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
