The Front Desk Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service at Jyotsna Hospital. As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, the Front Desk Executive represents the hospital's values of professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Reception and Registration**:
- Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.
- Register new patients accurately into the hospital system.
- Verify patient information and insurance details.
- **Appointment Scheduling**:
- Manage appointment schedules for doctors and specialists.
- Coordinate appointments, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently.
- Ensure that patient appointments are appropriately prioritized based on medical urgency.
- **Customer Service**:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
- Address inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Direct patients to the appropriate departments or medical professionals as needed.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Maintain and update patient records and information in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
- Assist in the processing of billing and insurance claims.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management.
- **Collaboration**:
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and services.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff, nurses, and support personnel.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving front desk operations.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Front Desk Executive or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health records software.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is desirable.
