**About MelJol**

MelJol is a registered NGO that focuses on life skills education with focus on social and financial inclusion of the disadvantaged children and youth. Ms. Jeroo Billimoria, a social entrepreneur, is the founder of MelJol, Ms. Jeroo has also founded Childline, a free helpline service for children in distress. In the last 3 years, MelJol has reached out to around 300,000 children and youth, 200,000 children & youth developed habits of informal & institutional savings.

**Major Areas of Responsibility**:

- Plan and lead sports activities and coaching sessions for children in schools and communities, fostering physical fitness and well-being.
- Teach a variety of sports to children, emphasizing basic techniques, teamwork, and fair play.
- Ensure that children of all abilities and backgrounds are encouraged to participate, and adapt sessions to suit their specific needs.
- Promote the importance of physical activity for health and fitness among children. Design age-appropriate activities that improve motor skills, coordination, strength, and endurance.
- Use sports as a medium to teach essential life skills such as leadership, discipline, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
- Track the development of children’s sporting skills and fitness levels over time, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Help organize and manage sports events, inter-school competitions, and community sporting events, collaborating with schools and local authorities.
- Build strong relationships with local schools, parents, and community leaders to create a supportive environment for sports participation.
- Maintain records of training sessions, children’s progress, and overall project impact. Report on activities to supervisors and stakeholders.

**Personal Specifications**:
Meljol is seeking an ambitious, energetic, and determined individual with strong proficiency in English. We are looking for someone who has a passion for **sports and development**, as this role involves working on social initiatives within communities.

Expected Education**:B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed**

**Salary**: 2,16,000 to 2,40,000 p. a.
