We are seeking a skilled Electrician Technician to join our team at [Company Name]. As an Electrician Technician in our steel manufacturing plant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

**Responsibilities**:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in the steel manufacturing plant.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.

Inspect electrical components, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and switches, for signs of wear or damage.

Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to identify and implement improvements to electrical systems and processes.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing electrical work.

Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.

**Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical technology preferred.

Proven experience as an electrician technician in an industrial setting, preferably in a steel manufacturing plant.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components.

Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.

Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.

Flexibility to work various shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Certification as a journeyman electrician.

Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and industrial automation systems.

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Previous experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
