**Roles & responsibilities**:

- Discussing project aims with the Project manager and development team.
- Ensure that the development team follows best practices in software development, code reviews, and testing
- Collaborate with other teams such as design and product management to develop new features and functionalities that meet business requirements
- Presenting work in meetings with clients and management whenever needed.
- Participate in code reviews and help maintain code quality
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Mentor and train junior developers on the team
- Ability to manage multiple projects with Juniors
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development

**Skills required**:

- 5+ years of experience in PHP web frameworks including Cake php Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
- Experience with JSON and XML processing libraries.
- Experience with Agile Software Methodology.
- Experience leading a team of developers in a software development environment
- Strong understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework, including best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid knowledge of OOP concepts.
- Understanding of MySQL,Mongo, PostgreSQL databases or other relational databases
- Familiarity with Git and version control
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
