**JOB SUMMARY**
- Agility within Standard Chartered Bank isn’t just an implementation of Scrum or Kanban within a software development team; it's a new way of working (NWoW) that's applied across all areas of the organisation. To be successful in the role you would have to be considered a strategic thought leader by your peers, have experience in leading groups of teams in an organisational transition and have a depth of analytical understanding of a variety of New Ways of Working. Your communication skills will be tested against a wide variety of audiences as Agile is not solely applied to just the Information Technology areas of Standard Chartered Bank. You will need to be able to effectively adapt your communication approach based upon the audience's context and familiarity of the Agile ways of working You could be communicating with teams within technology or within other areas of the business such as Sales, Marketing, Banking Operation, HR, Finance or even Risk. You would be working as a trusted advisor to leaders in all levels within the organisation from team leaders through to Global Heads and C-Suite.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Strategy**
- Coach and present senior executive leadership teams on the value of new ways of working (NWOW) and the mindsets leaders will have to adopt to make those NWOW work
- Create high performance culture where agile is leveraged as a strategic business asset
- Identify and attack organisational impediments constraining productivity, quality, early risk mitigation and continuous delivery of customer value

**Business**
- Adapt and change your approach based upon the context that you are supporting through the cultural transition towards embedding organisational agility.
- Driven by customer obsession, deploy strategies to accelerate speed of change in delivery of innovative products & services
- Enable a culture of high performance that is highly collaborative and focussed on continuous learning & improvement.
- Contribute to building a resilient organisation to be nimble in its sense and response to the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous (VUCA) era

**Risk Management**
- Proactively and courageously identify, analyse, and steer solutions on organizational impediments and constraints to productivity, quality, early risk mitigation, and continuous delivery of value

**Governance**
- Speak up and proactively flag gaps and deviations to the key principles, Ways of Working Standards and Change Delivery Model as a Product Delivery organization, and steer execution of improvement plans to address them.

**Regulatory & Business Conduct**
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

- Operations Management Team
- Country & Business Unit COOs
- Group Process Owners / Product Owners
- Group and Business Unit MT
- Functional Partners including Risk, Compliance, HR, Finance, Legal, Audit, Corporate Affairs, Regulatory Affairs
- Banking Associations and industry partners

**Other Responsibilities**
- Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values, Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)

**Role Specific Technical Competencies**
- Minimum of 5yrs experience in Agile or other related.
- Minimum 5yrs experience in IT
- Minimum 2yrs leading teams using Agile
- Experience leading in non technology functions
- Experience in cultural transformation
- Understanding of agile delivery tools i.e. JIRA/Confluence/ADO
