**Job Title**: Commi 1 - Indian & Tandoor

**Job Summary**:
The Commi 1 - Indian & Tandoor is responsible for preparing high-quality Indian and Tandoor dishes while adhering to the standards and guidelines set by the head chef. This role involves assisting in the daily operations of the kitchen, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian and Tandoor dishes as per the menu specifications.
- Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented to the highest standards.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of other dishes as required.
- **Kitchen Operations**:

- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all food items.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all food prepared meets the restaurant's quality standards.
- Monitor food stocks and supplies, ensuring fresh and quality ingredients are always available.
- Report any issues or concerns regarding food quality or kitchen operations to the Chef de Partie.
- **Health & Safety**:

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene practices.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and work areas are cleaned and maintained regularly.
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work effectively within a team environment, assisting colleagues as needed.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Commi 1 or similar role in an Indian kitchen.
- Proficiency in preparing and cooking a wide range of Indian and Tandoor dishes.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of traditional Indian spices, herbs, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality food.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- **Education**:

- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
- **Work Environment**:

- The position involves working in a busy kitchen with exposure to heat, noise, and cooking fumes.
- The role requires flexibility with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.


Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
