**Summary**:
The work schedule for this position is:

Duties

Built new walls using concrete blocks, bricks, stones, etc. Perform concreting work for new reinforced concrete structures including all functions for the work such as arranging tools I materials, measuring, cutting/Binding rebar, manual concrete mixing, erecting formwork, etc. Work with carpenter to build formwork for concrete structure. Pour concrete if ready-mix concrete required and available. Perform work of new surface finishes including sand-cement plaster. Install new ceramic tiles/marble stone for finish surfaces including arraigning tools/materials, measuring, marking, preparing surface, mixing adhesive, grouting joints, etc. Guide work of technicians/helpers assigned to help in the task depending on complexity and volume of work. Perform work of maintain true plump lines, levels and contours per design. Maintain the assigned tools in good working condition. Account for materials issued and used for each task. Complete work per schedule, using SHEM guidelines for safe work practices and in full measuring to avoid call-backs. Repair existing brick work, concrete structures, surface finishes of building and tilework including all preparatory, quality, schedule, safety related functions described above for new installations. Install new/repair existing water proofing, moisture protection, and thermal insulation on buildings including all preparatory and quality/safety functions described above for new installations. Keep account for all tools, materials and supplies and turn in unused old, new and unserviceable items to supply room. Completes a thorough clean-up of all tools and equipment at the end of each workday and upon completion of the project. Secure all tools, equipment, and materials once job completed. Fill in work order with work time, date, and attach all material required, drawing or turn-in slip, necessary paper for any equipment issued and turn in to foreman. Support FM operations including emergency actions, escorting, monitoring contractors. Support Post operations including community events. Perform all duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.

Qualifications and Evaluations

**Requirements**:
EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience as a Masonry tradesman.

JOB KNOWLEDGE: Need to know different grades of concrete, laying of concrete and its post requisites. Brick work in different bonds, Terrazzo flooring, marble flooring, hallow concrete blocks wall, natural stone laying and cutting etc. Material estimate for different works.

**Education Requirements**:
Mandatory: Completion of middle schooling (8th class) is required.

**Evaluations**:
LANGUAGE: Mandatory: English: Level 1 (This may be tested)

Telugu/Hindi: Level 3 (This may be tested)

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The ability to use a variety of tools of the trade is required. Experience of powered tools such as pneumatic hammers and concrete sprayers is required. Physical ability to work outdoors in hot and humid environment is required. Must have basic math skills for simple calculations of area, volumes, etc. and conversion of metric to foot and vice versa.
