Quality Production Professional - Job Profile
- Looking for a Quality Production Professional with a strong quality background in problem solving and
- issue resolution on assembled Vacuum Circuit Breaker (Medium Voltage) and its sub-assemblies
- Position Title - Quality Production Professional

- Your new role - challenging and future-oriented:
- 1. Analyze non conformances (NCR) occurring at different stages (In
- process, Testing, etc.), identify root cause of
- failure for the supplied parts and take CAPA
- 2. Prepare and update Checklist, Procedures, Guidelines, and other documents in the Manufacturing assembly line,
- also ensure correct documents are used in Manufacturing line
- 3. Perform Product audits on ready to pack products to conform compliance to Design and Customer requirements
- 4. Support SQM, Operations excellence, Purchasing to establish new supplier evaluation/assessment, qualification, and
- development of parts and equipment
- 5. Perform Process FMEA, VSM to identify areas of improvement within production system
- 6. Work closely with suppliers in development of new parts, sub-assemblies, assembly trials on the new samples
- submitted by supplier as per test plan
- 7. Visit vendors regularly, monitor if the quality checks are being done in line with the agreed product quality
- plans/ process control plans, provide guidance in developing the correct inspection methods and tools in
- order to minimize the incoming rejection at our factory
- 8. Monitoring Quality KPIs FPY, DpU and WFR for routine testing and initiating RCA and PA for deviations
- 9. Identify parts / sub-assemblies design deviations in factory and initiate design changes in consultation with
- respective Product care
- 10. Proactively identify Q improvements (Process / Product) measures and initiate actions.
- 11. Provide Product and Process training to supplier and Customer Service engineers
- 12. Identify and drive Digitalization topics within area of responsibility to enhance and optimize the processes
- 13. Communicate feedback and lessons learnt to Assembly & Testing engineers
- What do I need to qualify for this job?
- . Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical / Mechanical) or its equivalent
- . Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, Supplier development
- . Must be technically sound in manufacturing and testing processes of Medium Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers,
- should possess excellent analytical skills with strong attention to details
- . Expertise and experience of using 7QC tools, 5 whys, 8D, FMEA, etc.
- . Knowledge of Product Quality and Process improvements tools like Lean, Six Sigma, SPA, SPC, etc.
- . Must exhibit a high level of motivation, sense of urgency, and energetic approach to job duties and requirements
- along with team working skills
- . Must have excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills to communicate technical information
- within Siemen and suppliers
- . Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work and prioritize in a fast paced environment is essential for success
- . Proven track record of interacting professionally and positively with all levels of the organization
- . Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to manage and respond to changing priorities
- . Competent with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), PowerBI
- . This profile requires travel to various Customer and Suppliers sites
