Production Supervisior

Job Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing Production Process:
Supervise and monitor daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality.

Ensure production goals are met and report any delays or issues to the management.

2. Team Management:
Manage and lead a team of operators, technicians, and other staff to optimize productivity.

Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Train and develop team members for improved performance and career growth.

3. Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of product quality through regular checks and adherence to established quality protocols.

Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure the final product meets company standards.

4. Process Improvement:
Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in the production process.

Implement and promote continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.

5. Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition.

Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance activities.

6. Inventory and Resource Management:
Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished goods to avoid production delays.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.

7. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all production activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Maintain accurate records of production data, such as machine logs, output levels, and defects.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.

3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Experience in supervising a production team.

Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other production techniques.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing and process improvement techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
